We are sitting in our hotel room in Bloomington, waiting for a pizza for dinner. Here is Em and Jack’s narrative of the trip so far:

EMILY: On the first day, when we got off the train, we went to a museum and went to a hot-dog stand. It was called Big Mouth’s. Then, we took a bus to our hotel. Then, we went to our room to put on our bathing suits to go swimming. Then, we went to our room to put our clothes on to go to Steak ‘n Shake for dinner.

JACK: On the second day, we ate breakfast at the hotel downstairs. We went to the museum on the bus. We were going to walk to Arby’s for lunch but we missed the bus to go. So we went to Steak ‘n Shake instead. Then, we walked to Walmart to get a movie and popcorn. Then, we walked back to the hotel in the rain.

EMILY: Today we had breakfast in the hotel. Then, we took a bus to the museum. After that, we took a bus to go find a bowling alley. When we found the bowling alley, we figured out it was closed. So, we had to walk back to a sidewalk where the bus would go by and wait in the rain for the bus. Then, we got on that bus and it took us to a different bus, called Lime ‘I’. That was the bus that took us to our hotel. Then, we went swimming for an hour and a half. Then, we went back upstairs to change to eat. We were supposed to go to Arby’s, but it was across the expressway, so we couldn’t walk and we just missed the bus. So we went to Steak ‘n Shake instead for lunch. Then, we ordered a pizza for dinner.

JACK: Tomorrow we’re supposed to go to the zoo and miniature golfing. If it’s raining, we’re going to go and see a movie called “Ratatoullie”.
