Someone reproduced a bunch of DaVinci's designs.
IMG_3653.JPG
Rather cool, but it would have been cooler to see them working.

Gotta love the bike, though the next caption points out it probably wasn't DaVinci's design.

Florence at night.

IMG_3663.JPG
I liked Florence a lot.
IMG_3664.JPG
Ah, more bicyclists in Florence
IMG_3665.JPG
Dedicated bike lanes, always cool
IMG_3666.JPG
Heading back toward the Uffizi. I got lost until I found the river which got me back to my pensione.

IMG_3668.JPG
Science museum where you couldn't take pictures, but I spent a lot of time. Galileo's finger is in there.
IMG_3669.JPG
Looking out at Florence from it's highest point.

IMG_3672.JPG
I'm not happy. I think I just got ripped off because the guy who I bought something from gave me change for 5 euros when I was sure I gave him 10. Oh, well, at least it wasn't too much.

My room in Pensione Canada. 36 euros a night was a deal.
IMG_3676.JPG
The place was small, spotless on located maybe a block from the Duomo.
IMG_3677.JPG
This was a gypsy band playing in Florence.
IMG_3679.JPG
They drew a decent crowd (it got bigger) and I bought their cd.
IMG_3681.JPG
More public art, she blew a kiss for money.
IMG_3687.JPG
Ah, here I am in Milan. Note the sign that has two trains from Malpensa, of which John is supposed to be on one of them. Do you think he was?
IMG_3689.JPG
The public art outside the train station where I'm now supposed to meet John because he missed his flight.
IMG_3690.JPG
Me demonstrating how I took most of the pictures on this trip.
IMG_3691.JPG
Ok, this is La Scala, the point of my trip to Milan. I am unhappy that I can't see an opera there.
