When the sun was out the train ride was enjoyable	I think I'm in upstate New York here	This was for Jack who wanted me to buy him some M&Ms from this store. I didn't go in.
	Made it to the MakerBot store, but forgot the key to my bike lock, so I didn't go in.	Columbia University getting ready for graduation. This was for Nancy as she's an alumnus.

This was for Julie.	The t-shirts I bought myself and my bib for the ride.	My folding bike was ready to go. It rode beautifully.
Waiting for the silver start, which was at 9:15am	Lining up to get started. Waiting here for about 30 mintues.	Here's when I was getting closer to the start.
No idea where we are, but this was the first traffic jam where you had to get off your bike and walk.	Later on, another traffic jam.	This is the Astoria rest stop. We just rode over that bridge above, I think.
I could not find the exit of this rest stop.	This is the Brooklyn rest stop.	I hung out here for a while.

The Statue of Liberty is just to the right, but my phone died before I could get a picture.	My celebratory cupcake for finishing. I bought it in the basement of Grand Central Terminal, which was very close to my hotel.	United Nations. They take all the flags down on the weekends.
