Ah, Versailles

Fire truck. Kelsey wanted to get pictures of all the fire trucks to show her grandpa.

Paramedics, to show Uncle Tim

First room, the chapel, in the Palace of Versailles

Ceiling in Palace of Versailles

Really big logs in a very large fireplace

Another room, another ornate ceiling

Grounds at Versailles

New chandelier in Hall of Mirrors, which is under renovation.

Most of this room is closed, which completely bummed me out.

Only a little section of the Hall of Mirrors was open. There is no need to go inside the palace until 2007 when this room will be reopened.

They just can't see how cool the room is. I'm so sad.

This is a model of something, I don't remember what.

Shoot, I wish I could remeber what this is.

Amy in front of the picture of Napoleon crowning Josephine as his Queen.

A tour guide next to me is explaining that the cardinal is blessing Napoleon because he was brought out for the ceremony and should do something.

Now, in the beautiful gardens at Versailles. If you come, don't go in the palace, just go and see the gardens.

The gardens are huge.

Kelsey on the ledge while Amy admires the gardens.

You can see one of the palm trees in the lower right corner of the picture.

Kelsey checking out the maze.

A little yard off to one side of the palace.

Mary over her disappointment of the Hall of Mirrors being closed.

Now things get silly because there are just so many statues around.

Mary striking a pose.

Now for a look at the back yard.
